And so to our Students. (Oxford Brookes Fine Art
Show, 2010)
The level of Support brought news to the Fine Art
Show. The Artists, openly mingling between the
smiles, and new entrepreneurs of these they say,
are
Artists.
The Show carefully curated covers a lot of ground
in technology and Apologists to the old ways of
medium in the arts. What came across was the
Copy, and Alteration of Medium to the new Media.
The push towards new Technology provided for
immediacy, Production and Reproduction of images,
recycled by media, technology and forward
thinking.
Each Artist gathered around, focusing on their
participation or indeed place in the group; as
individual Artists defining work, as their own. The
fear of override of the senses depends on your
point of view. The revolving spectrum of installation
whether physical or type driven. This would be the
Computer, the Television and physical Products
that
have come home to Oxford Brookes.
The revolt against the machine, of past endeavour
and new pointers to the failings of quick choices.
The accompanying brochure heralds the origins of
actions. Placing criticism related to mantras help
only as a manipulation of the images and Art
Works. The serious, the comical, the religious, to all
areas of the spectrum of thought in the Fine Art
Fashion made this quite a show.
Our minds ready to receive but an unexpected
response given to all, who stand here as the
masters
of the destiny in the Fine Art Show. Aspirers,
ambitious and forthright thinkers are evident but
will they be able to Transform themselves ready for
work in the Fine Art World. I wish you Good Luck.
