J. Crosswell has travelled in the UK for diverse
subject matter in Cornwall and Devon, as well as
the hidden delights of Wargrave itself. His work
though reflective of the environment that he has
travelled to see, indicates the history of the tin
mining community and the dereliction of
communities hard work to their past industries.
The
qualities of sheen and colour very much captured
by the modern camera also show Julian innate
abilities and talent towards the photo shoot, There
is little doubt of the impact the photos has, but the
inhuman idiom turn the other way, or ignore the
problem, is cast into the photo just as we see the
bewildered thoughts of those unknown to us.
