The growth of the green shoots long now a political
metaphor in fact struck at the coming of the lush
green pastures of the agricultural society that had
served the church so well in Medival times. Again
isolating the leaves with layers create a duotone
effect which given the context of the image beyond
the glass has made the background appear as if
grassland.
