Firebird is the most amibitious of his works which is
constructed of a fledgling of broken glass and a
myriad of glass panes to make the pheonix in full
flight. The rectangular glass backing is the frame
for the breaking of flight for the bird. Again the use
of red and orange layers in the wings and tail
feather ( yellow and brown) is highly evocative of
the sun rays on the feather of the bird.
