The paraphenalia of the mind and the nature which
we hid in our subconscious is self-evident here.
These represent our fears of the garden and
contempt for anything that does not fit in with our
idea of the green and pleasant land.
The
insects,
penguin and frogs all oddities are treated differently
to most animals especially by children to the
utmost derision of curiousity. This is a play of
hysterical undertones, the stepping stones, the
wirelike sweet peas. Corresponding characterlike
animals fitting neatly into the space provided for
the sweet pea leaves.
