The rush of the white foam, waves and the turn of the tides is at odds
with the
rich stark rocky outcrops in the distance.
This is a cliff or headland with a difference it is richly organic, upturning
any safe
colours and instead replaced by
awkward substance, could easily be from a different rock grouping,
indeed a
place from a different land. It is a brave
picture refusing to confess to anything other than what is there as
honest as that
is.
The symetry of the incoming waves leaves a triangle of spacious sea,
left to
amuse the cliff in the far distance.
