The sequence of events takes hold, the steam boat heads towards the depot, the town beckons the sailors who reach forward to the future embarkation.
No doubt the relative pasty colouration is a misty unity in placement and composition. The  setting is complete. The bygone age is being re-lived and 
helpful is our journey to the scene.
