LANDSCAPES Landscape art depicts scenery such as mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests. Sky is almost always included in the view, and weather usually is an element of the composition. Traditionally, landscape art depicts the surface of the earth, but there are other sorts of landscapes, such as moonscapes, for example.
STILL LIFE A still life is a motif set up by the artist in a formulative manner which conjures up in pictural form what the artist wishes to let us see.
FIGURATIVE Any picture with a figure or figurative elements in the artwork whether it be an outline or a body part.
WILDLIFE Any scene depicting an area where wildlife can be seen or found.
ABSTRACT Abtract signifies any artwork which is not directly from close observation or a technique which evolves in an unorthodox way.
