Victor Ursu was born in 1954, ( Briceni, Moldova). A member of Moldavian Union of Artists. He is a teacher by the first speciality (teacher's training college in Lipcani, Moldova). On graduating from the Higher Art-industrial school named after V. Mukhina (Leningrad, USSR) in 1986 Victor Ursu has started to work as a designer in project institute of Chisinau. In 1988-89 worked as the chief of department of monumental art of Art Fund MSSR. In 1992-94 - the director of the Exhibit Room "Constantin of the Union of Artists of Moldova. Since 1994 until now teaches drawing and painting at architecture and design departments (Technical University RM, "Perspectiva- INT"). The author of several methodological guides for university entrants and students of art specialities. Is the author of illustrations to the book ("Banished in humiliation") by V.Chutak, the devoted history of his native village. Victor Ursu works in the techniques of watercolour and oil painting, the author of six monumental wall paintings.
