After several days trekking in Jiuzhaigou, Northern
Sichuan province I headed back to Chengdu. Taking
off through the
clouds, the peaks, some going up to 6000 meters,
ripped through the cloud
line. The rugged pinnacles cutting the soft clouds
led to an ideal
opportunity to use black and white to get the
powerful contrast of
textures to come through.
