The charity event took place on the 6th December
2009 as a music and art exhibition opening the
doors
to passers by. The event raised 800 pounds mostly
for
charity.
The exhibitors were
pleasantly surprised by
the good nature of the viewers and the weather and
were pleased to have exhibited here. We were
slightly off the beaten track but put on a good
show.
J. Cannon as always a keen
supporter of
Target-art and example of philosophical
accomplishment in her work remained moved by
the occaision.
G. Antman proved that
woodturning was in fact more than a
craft,
Miss
Castle prints were highly original and
calligraphic.
Miss Atherton surprised us all by the amount of
sales of ceramics.
J. Crosswell broke
his
initiation as a photographer with the uphelding of
his exhibition with some sweet shots of Wargrave
and earthy shots of tin mines in Devon and
Cornwall.
E. Waller's works were
deemed
extremely unusual and powerful in impact.
An
eccentric cartoonist was present who wishes to
remain anonymous but with whom we all
appreciated. A Good time was had by
all.
