B1D: Art Review of Edith Holt 2010

The sounds that we hear and make, often are if the making of the way forward. Inspiring the mind to conjure up emotion. Sometimes the timing of the way of things are slowed, or speeded up to music. The power of the senses is not always well understood. The feelings and notions of music have sometimes, helped, or drowned thought, influencing us to a further degree. Somehow we must evolve genetically, the level of emotion helps us to new levels and it remains for future generations, not just for a recording but a kinetic understanding of the next directly related relative. If the knowledge of a talent is passed around it leads us all to look into a certain avenue of interest. This, at an early age, is vital for the 'telling' of talent, being inspired by notions spread about amongst adults. The children pick things up subconsciously or even as a reverence to their relative.

Though these things may be obvious to as you were a singer in Germany, it provides for us hope or 'influence' over others. Of course those closest to you know of your talent and celebrate it (as indeed do the general public who are your fans). Now I am hoping you do not mind if I ask of you how you work and create pottery. I can spot a swirl of colour in your work, the circular nature of pottery even keeps to music. It seems obvious to me that you are talented and thorough in your work. Quite something. I apologise if this is complicated English. I am afraid those like myself think communication is a complicated experience, where it should be simple and helpful, I apologise for this.

I have written with all the knowledge I have for music and the link with hands on art; ie pottery. I am an artist myself, which says nothing of me. I struggled with my emotions and conscience and found music to be at first liberating. Now that I have avoided the turpentine and white spirit I hope I am more centred and interested in writing to you. Music, I find to be not just uplifting, but actually an investment as is TV in the background, in the way that we think. It provides for us subsidence and nourishes us to our very best in achievement.
